Anti-TMEM156 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 156. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 296 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM156 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMEM156 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
