Anti-GAS2L3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein growth arrest specific 2 like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 694 amino acid residues and a mass of 75.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, heart, liver, placenta, brain, skeletal muscle, kidney and lung. A member of the GAS2 protein family, GAS2L3 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include GAS2-like protein 3 and growth arrest-specific protein 2-like 3. GAS2L3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some GAS2L3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
