Anti-BTBD9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein BTB domain containing 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 612 amino acid residues and a mass of 69.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the brain. BTBD9 is known to be involved with metabolic processes. The BTBD9 gene has been associated with the disease, Restless legs syndrome. Synonyms for this target antigen include BTB/POZ domain-containing protein 9 and BTB (POZ) domain containing 9. BTBD9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some BTBD9 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations.
