Anti-PBX4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PBX homeobox 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 374 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the TALE/PBX homeobox protein family, PBX4 is known to be involved with organ morphogenesis and brain development. Synonyms for this target antigen include homeobox protein PBX4, pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox 4, and pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor 4. PBX4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PBX4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
