Anti-INSM transcriptional repressor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene INSM1 in humans. The gene may also be known as IA1, insulinoma associated 1, IA-1, insulinoma-associated protein 1, and zinc finger protein IA-1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 52.9 kilodaltons in mass. The INSM1 marker can be used to identify Neuroendocrine Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
