Anti-dpy-19 like 4 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DPY19L4 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 723 amino acid residues and a mass of 83.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Dpy-19 protein family, it is a suspected C-mannosyltransferase that mediates C-mannosylation of tryptophan residues on target proteins. Other names for this target antigen include dpy-19-like protein 4, protein dpy-19 homolog 4, and probable C-mannosyltransferase DPY19L4. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the dpy-19 like 4 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
