Anti-FAM60A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FAM60A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SINHCAF gene, which encodes SIN3-HDAC complex associated factor. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell differentiation and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of FAM60A has a canonical amino acid length of 221 residues and a protein mass of 24.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, tonsil, and adipose tissue. FAM60A is a member of the SINHCAF protein family.
