Anti-EEF1E1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 epsilon 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 174 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. EEF1E1 is reported to be a positive modulator of ATM response to DNA damage. Synonyms for this target antigen include P18, ARS-interacting multifunctional protein 3, aminoacyl tRNA synthetase complex-interacting multifunctional protein 3, multisynthase complex auxiliary component p18, and AIMP3. EEF1E1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some EEF1E1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
