Anti-FAM9C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 9 member C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 166 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is found to be preferentially expressed in the testis. A member of the FAM9 protein family, FAM9C is known to be involved with spermatid development. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM9C and testis expressed 39C. Indicated applications for FAM9C antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
