Anti-ABHD8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein abhydrolase domain containing 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 439 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.3 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the AB hydrolase protein superfamily. Synonyms for this target antigen include abhydrolase domain-containing protein 8, alpha/beta hydrolase domain-containing protein 8, and protein ABHD8. ABHD8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ABHD8 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
