Anti-AK7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein adenylate kinase 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 723 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in sperm and airway epithelial cells. A member of the Adenylate kinase protein family; Dpy-30 protein family, it is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ATP-AMP transphosphorylase 7 and putative adenylate kinase 7.
