Anti-FAM83F antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 83 member F. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 500 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and small intestine. A member of the FAM83 protein family, FAM83F is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM83F. FAM83F gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FAM83F antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunocytochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
