Anti-FAM49B antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FAM49B antigen is another term for the human protein CYFIP related Rac1 interactor B, encoded by the CYRIB gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 324 residues and a mass of 36.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and membrane and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex and kidney. The FAM49B protein is a member of the CYRI protein family. Other alias names for FAM49B include BM-009 and CYRI. Some FAM49B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
