The gene may also be known as sal-like 4 (Drosophila), DRRS, HSAL4, ZNF797, and sal-like protein 4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 112.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
