Anti-Tyrosine kinase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TYK2 in humans. The gene may also be known as IMD35, JTK1, and non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase TYK2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 133.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
