Anti-TNIP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TNFAIP3 interacting protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.9 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the lung, lymph node, thymus and fetal liver. TNIP3 is known to bind to zinc finger protein TNFAIP3 and inhibits NF-kappa-B activation induced by tumor necrosis factor, Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), interleukin-1 and 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate. Synonyms for this target antigen include ABIN-3 beta, Listeria induced, TNFAIP3-interacting protein 3 beta, TNIP3 beta, listeria-induced gene protein, and A20-binding inhibitor of NF-kappa-B activation 3. TNIP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TNIP3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
