Anti-OR1S1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily S member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1S1 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1S1 and olfactory receptor OR11-232. Some OR1S1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
