Anti-UNC13 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UNC13 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UNC13B gene, which encodes unc-13 homolog B. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological roles. The human version of UNC13 has a canonical amino acid length of 1591 residues and a protein mass of 180.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include MUNC13 and Unc13h2. Indicated applications for UNC13 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
