Anti-Vlk antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Vlk antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PKDCC gene, which encodes protein kinase domain containing, cytoplasmic. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and lung development, among other biological roles. The human version of Vlk has a canonical amino acid length of 493 residues and a protein mass of 54.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the testis, nasopharynx, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Vlk is a member of the Protein kinase protein superfamily.
