Anti-TRYP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TRYP1 is a known alias name of the protein serine protease 1, encoded by the PRSS1 gene in humans. This 247-amino acid residue protein is known to have activity against the synthetic substrates Boc-Phe-Ser-Arg-Mec, Boc-Leu-Thr-Arg-Mec, Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-Mec and Boc-Val-Pro-Arg-Mec. The protein is secreted and features cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the small intestine, pancreas, and duodenum. Other synonyms for TRYP1 include TRP1, TRY1, and TRY4. Western Blot is a widely used application for the TRYP1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
