Anti-VEAR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the VEAR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GGA2 gene, which encodes golgi associated, gamma adaptin ear containing, ARF binding protein 2. This protein is known to function in intracellular protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of VEAR has a canonical amino acid length of 613 residues and a protein mass of 67.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. VEAR is a member of the GGA protein family. Indicated applications for VEAR antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
