Anti-TM30 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TM30 is a known alias name of the protein tropomyosin 3, encoded by the TPM3 gene in humans. This 285-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for TM30 include CAPM1, CFTD, and CMYP4A.
