Anti-Tm3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Tm3 antigen is another term for the human protein tropomyosin 3, encoded by the TPM3 gene. The protein is known to bind to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 285 residues and a mass of 33 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The Tm3 protein is a member of the Tropomyosin protein family. Other alias names for Tm3 include CAPM1, CFTD, and CMYP4A.
