Anti-THMD1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target THMD1 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 19 member 2, encoded by the SLC19A2 gene in humans. This 497-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in spermatogenesis and transmembrane transport, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for THMD1 include TC1 and THT1.
