Anti-UR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target UR is a known alias name of the protein urocortin 2, encoded by the UCN2 gene in humans. This 112-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
