Anti-TRY8 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TRY8 is a known alias name of the protein serine protease 2, encoded by the PRSS2 gene in humans. This 247-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in proteolysis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features sulfated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in Paneth cells, at the base of small intestinal crypts. Other synonyms for TRY8 include TRY2 and TRYP2. Indicated applications for TRY8 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
