Anti-TGY antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TGY is a known alias name of the protein transglutaminase 6, encoded by the TGM6 gene in humans. This 706-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the cross-linking of proteins and the conjugation of polyamines to proteins. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell.
