Anti-ZF21 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZF21 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZFYVE21 gene, which encodes zinc finger FYVE-type containing 21. This protein is reported to play a role in cell adhesion, and thereby in cell motility which requires repeated formation and disassembly of focal adhesions. The human version of ZF21 has a canonical amino acid length of 234 residues and a protein mass of 26.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles of cells. Indicated applications for ZF21 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
