Anti-Uri antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Uri is a known alias name of the protein URI1 prefoldin like chaperone, encoded by the URI1 gene in humans. This 535-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in gene transcription regulation. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for Uri include C19orf2, NNX3, and PPP1R19. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Uri antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
