Anti-XLG2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The XLG2 antigen is another term for the human protein phosphorylase kinase regulatory subunit alpha 2, encoded by the PHKA2 gene. The protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1235 residues and a mass of 138.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be highly expressed in the liver and other non-muscle tissues. The XLG2 protein is a member of the Phosphorylase b kinase regulatory chain protein family. Other alias names for XLG2 include GSD9A, PHK, and PYK.
