Anti-Wap1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Wap1 is a known alias name of the protein WAP four-disulfide core domain 5, encoded by the WFDC5 gene in humans. This 224-amino acid residue protein is believed to be an acid-stable proteinase inhibitor. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications.
