Anti-TWA2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TWA2 is a known alias name of the protein muskelin 1, encoded by the MKLN1 gene in humans. This 735-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the CTLH E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that selectively accepts ubiquitin from UBE2H and mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of the transcription factor HBP1. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term muskelin is another synonym for TWA2. Indicated applications for TWA2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
