Anti-UP3A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UP3A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UPK3A gene, which encodes uroplakin 3A. This protein is known to function in epithelial cell differentiation and kidney development, among other biological roles. The human version of UP3A has a canonical amino acid length of 287 residues and a protein mass of 30.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the urinary bladder. This target antigen may also be known as UPIII. Indicated applications for UP3A antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
