Anti-TDRP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein testis development related protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 185 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in spermatogenic cells, especially in spermatocytes. A member of the TDRP protein family, TDRP is known to be involved with spermatogenesis. TDRP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the Tdrp antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
