Anti-ST1C1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ST1C1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SULT1C2 gene, which encodes sulfotransferase family 1C member 2. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of ST1C1 has a canonical amino acid length of 296 residues and a protein mass of 34.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified.
