Anti-SSAT-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SSAT-1 is a known alias name of the protein spermidine/spermine N1-acetyltransferase 1, encoded by the SAT1 gene in humans. This 171-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SSAT-1 include DC21, KFSD, and KFSDX. Indicated applications for SSAT-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
