Anti-Tef3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Tef3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TRIM37 gene, which encodes tripartite motif containing 37. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription and NF-kappaB signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of Tef3 has a canonical amino acid length of 964 residues and a protein mass of 107.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, chromosomes, and cytoplasm of cells. Tef3 is a member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family.
