Anti-SWSAP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SWIM-type zinc finger 7 associated protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 229 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. SWSAP1 is known to be involved with DNA repair and protein stabilization. Synonyms for this target antigen include SWS1-associated protein 1, ZSWIM7-associated protein 1, zinc finger, SWIM-type containing 7 associated protein 1, and ATPase SWSAP1. SWSAP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the SWSAP1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
