Anti-SCNX antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SCNX antigen is another term for the human protein WASP actin nucleation promoting factor, encoded by the WAS gene. The protein is known to function in epidermis development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 502 residues and a mass of 52.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in the thymus. Other alias names for SCNX include IMD2 and THC. Western Blot is the most common application for the SCNX antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
