Anti-RSMD1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RSMD1 is a known alias name of the protein selenoprotein N, encoded by the SELENON gene in humans. This 590-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the response to oxidative stress and lung development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for RSMD1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
