Anti-SCM1A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SCM1A is a known alias name of the protein X-C motif chemokine ligand 1, encoded by the XCL1 gene in humans. This 114-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell to cell signaling and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in spleen, lower in peripheral leukocytes and very low levels in the lung, colon and small intestine. Other synonyms for SCM1A include ATAC, ATAC, and LPTN. Western Blot is a widely used application for the SCM1A antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
