Anti-REPA2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the REPA2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RPA2 gene, which encodes replication protein A2. This protein is known to function in DNA replication and DNA repair, among other biological roles. The human version of REPA2 has a canonical amino acid length of 270 residues and a protein mass of 29.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include RP-A p32 and RP-A p34. Western Blot is the most common application for the REPA2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
