Anti-SUR2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SUR2 is a known alias name of the protein ATP binding cassette subfamily C member 9, encoded by the ABCC9 gene in humans. This 1549-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in viral immune response and potassium ion transport, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
