Anti-Spo8 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Spo8 is a known alias name of the protein methyltransferase 3, N6-adenosine-methyltransferase complex catalytic subunit, encoded by the METTL3 gene in humans. This 580-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and forebrain radial glial cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features sumoylated post-translational modifications. Indicated applications for Spo8 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
