Anti-Sdh1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Sdh1 is a known alias name of the protein succinate dehydrogenase complex flavoprotein subunit A, encoded by the SDHA gene in humans. This 664-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in nervous system development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell and features acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
