Anti-SCC3B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SCC3B is a known alias name of the protein STAG2 cohesin complex component, encoded by the STAG2 gene in humans. This 1231-amino acid residue protein is known to be a component of cohesin complex, a complex required for the cohesion of sister chromatids after DNA replication. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SCC3B include HPE13, MKMS, and NEDXCF. Indicated applications for SCC3B antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
