Anti-TENS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TENS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TNS3 gene, which encodes tensin 3. This protein is believed to act as a protein phosphatase and/or a lipid phosphatase (Probable). The human version of TENS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1445 residues and a protein mass of 155.3 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell junctions of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. TENS1 is a member of the PTEN phosphatase protein family.
