Anti-SPGFY2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SPGFY2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the USP9Y gene, which encodes ubiquitin specific peptidase 9 Y-linked. This protein is known to function in cell migration and protein deubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of SPGFY2 has a canonical amino acid length of 2555 residues and a protein mass of 291.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. SPGFY2 is a member of the Peptidase C19 protein family.
