Anti-RRT2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RRT2 is a known alias name of the protein diphthamide biosynthesis 7, encoded by the DPH7 gene in humans. This 452-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the demethylation of diphthine methyl ester to form diphthine, an intermediate diphthamide biosynthesis, a post-translational modification of histidine which occurs in translation elongation factor 2 (EEF2) which can be ADP-ribosylated by diphtheria toxin and by Pseudomonas exotoxin A (Eta). Indicated applications for RRT2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
