Anti-SRP6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SRP6 is a known alias name of the protein karyopherin subunit alpha 5, encoded by the KPNA5 gene in humans. This 539-amino acid residue protein is reported to function in nuclear protein import as an adapter protein for nuclear receptor KPNB1. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the testis. Other synonyms for SRP6 include IPOA6 and importin subunit alpha-6. Indicated applications for SRP6 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
